Gold Crown Hens and Chicks is a small succulent that forms symmetrical bright red rosettes with gold tipped pointed fleshy foliage that flushes orange and gold as the weather cools. Lovely pink star shaped flowers go up in summer if it flowers. Like other sempervivums, it forms tight rosettes of succulent leaves and produces offsets (the "chicks") around the main rosette (the "hen").
