Early Meadow-Rue is an upright herbaceous perennial with lacy grey-green compound foliage. Nodding clusters of white to white-purple flowers with exagerrated tassel like stamen that can be fully yellow or yellow-and-purple depending on the flowers sex bloom in early spring. Grows best in part sun and rich well-drained soils. Sensitive to heat and humidity and foliage may die back in mid summer.
