Indian Pink, Apple Slices Indian Pink

Apple Slices Indian Pink is a native shade-loving herbaceous perennial with stiff stems and glossy ovate to lance shaped foliage.  The numerous clusters of upward facing trumpet shaped flowers have apple red bodies with soft yellow throats and bloom heavily in from late spring to mid fall, with a potential rebloom in late summer.  Grows best in moist, rich well-drained soils.   Tolerates wet soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pests or diseases.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Coral Bells, Anemone, Hosta
