Appalachian Blues Skullcap is a compact native perennial that forms clumps of serrated rich green foliage with very fine purple margins. Loose upright racemen sporting two-lipped blue and white flowers bloom from late spring through early summer, and can be extended if deadheaded. Highly attractive to pollinators. Best bloom in full sun and moist well-drained soil. Tolerates drought and poor soils.
