Wyldewood Elderberry is a compact native deciduous shrub with a dense rounded habit and bright but deep green foliage.  Huge  12" wide flattened clustsers of lemon scented white flower bloom in early summer and are followed by a heavy production of  sweeter than usual edible blue-black berries in late summer. Grows best in moist, humusy well-drained soils.  Wyldewood has strong disease resistance.
