Perpetual Purple Meadow Sage is a sturdy upright clumping herbaceous perennial with dark green foliage. Tall dark spikes with tiny deep purple two-lipped flowers with purple calyxes that stay after the flowers drop bloom from late spring into fall attracting hummingbirds. Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
