Tess of the d'Urbervilles Rose is a compact climbing deciduous shrub with glossy rich green foliage. The large, heavily petaled double flowers are saturated crimson and bloom from late spring into fall. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Tess of the d'Urbervilles is disease resistant.
