Charles Darwin Rose is a reblooming, deciduous shrub with a spreading mounded habit and glossy dark green foliage and fragrant roses whose scent varries between soft tea to strong lemon. These large fully double yellow flowers with more intense central color open to shallow cups and bloom continuously from late spring until frost.  Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall.  Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
