Red Midget Mexican Hat Plant is a compact native herbaceous perennial with an upright habit and finely dissected green foliage. Dramatic blooms of deep burgundy flowers with gold edging with tall elongated cones bloom from mid summer until frost. Flowers best in full sun and dry to average well-drained soils. Tolerates drought and poor soils.
