Meyer Spruce is a conifer tree that grows full to the ground with with a pyramidal habit and attractive deep silvery-blue to blue-green needles that are soft to the touch. The elongated female cones emerge a bright green before maturing to brown. Prefers full sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils. Drought tolerant once established. Meyer is pest and disease resistant, and highly tolerant of urban pollution.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance plant. Susceptible to needle cast, rust, and cytospora canker. Watch for aphids, scale, bagworms and budworms. Spider mites infestations can severally damage new growth.
