Fireworks Sundrops is a compact native perennial that slowly spreads and can be used as a groundcover. In warmer climates, the whorls of bronze tinted deep green foliage are evergreen and flushes purple in winter. The clusters of red buds open bright yellow cup-shaped flowers bloom in late spring into summer. Grows best in full sun with moderately rich and dry well-drained soils. Tolerates drought and deer resistant.
