Yankee Doodle Mountain Laurel is a multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a dense rounded habit and glossy green foliage. Showy clusters of bright red buds open to shell pink cup-shaped flowers with maroon bands and bloom from late spring into summer. Flowers best with part shade and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils.
