Sargent's Juniper is a creeping coniferous shrub that forms a low mound of fine-textured aromatic cool blue green foliage emerges needle-like and matures to scales. Pollinated females produce blue-black berries. Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought Tolerant once established. Sargent's has good resistance to juniper blight.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Junipers are generally susceptible to blights, especially in unusually wet weather. Rust and canker may occur, though it is not serious. Potential pests include aphids, bagworms, webworms, and scale.
