Soul Mate Hydrangea is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub able to bloom on both old and new wood. Its lightly serrated dark green leaves have no fall color. The mophead clusters color depends on the soil PH - romantic mauve to blue in acidic soils or vivid pink in alkaline soils - and bloom through summer into fall. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
