Prairie Wildfire Daylily is a herbaceous perennial with strap-like deep green foliage, and fragrant midseason flowers. These 5" lightly ruffled flowers are a deep fiery red with a bold yellow throat, and bloom from midsummer into fall. The flowers attract butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in deep and rich well-drained soils. Drought and salt tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Relatively pest free, but watch for mites, aphids, and thrips. Daylily Rust can be problematic in some areas. Divide every 3-4 years in fall or spring.
