Blanket Flower, Arizona Red Shades Blanket Flower

Arizona Red Shades Blanket Flower is a compact herbaceous perennial with well-branched upright stems and grey green lance-like foliage.  Large crimson daisy-like flowers may occasionally have yellow tipped petals bloom throughout summer until the first frost if deadheaded.  Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained rich soils.  Drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Root rot may occur in poorly drained soils.  Suscpetable to powdery mildew, leaf spot, and yellow asters.
