Fruit Punch Cherry Vanilla Dianthus is a compact mat-forming evergreen perennial with blue-grey foliage and hairy stems. Masses of fragrant fully double dark red flowers with pale pink picoted edges bloom first in early summer, and again in early fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil. Cherry Vanilla is heat, drought, and salt tolerant.
