Gertrude Jekyll Rose is a reblooming deciduous shrub with an upright mounded habit and glossy dark green foliage. A strong old rose fragrance is paired with the well formed bright pink double flowers that have a richer pink center that bloom in flushes from late spring until frost. In warm sun the flowers may fade to a pale pink. Best grown with full sun in rich and moist well-drained, lightly acidic soils.
