Solar Flare Red Hot Poker is a semi-evergreen perennial with upright grass like dark green leaves. A succession of thick showy spikes sporting bright yellow bottle-brush like cluster of flowers that bloom on naked stems throughout summer into fall. Best color in full sun and rich well-drained soil. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
