Alocasia

Alocasia is a tropical, tuberous perennial known for large, dramatic, heart- or arrow-shaped leaves often called "elephant ears".
- Inconspicuous flowers Spring and Summer, some lasting until Fall
- Flowers are a white-to-yellowish spadix encased in a pale green or light-colored spathe
- Foliage with colors ranging from deep emerald green and blackish-purple to metallic silvery-grey
- Indirect light, don't usually like direct sun
- Often avoided by deer
- Attracts pollinators
