Crispa Cutleaf Stephanandra is a woody deciduous shrub with purple-ish stems and a low-mounded habit of finely dissected bright green foliage that turns orange to yellow in fall  The white flowers bloom in summer, but are often removed.  Grows best in full sun and moist, well-drained acidic soils.
