Seaside Goldenrod is an upright native herbaceous perennial with stiff hairy stems and waxy narrow green foliage. The dense splays of one-sided panicles sporting tiny bright yellow flowers bloom from mid summer to mid fall attracting butterflies. Grows best with full sun and average to mosit, sandy well-drained soils. Tolerates wet soils and salt.
Seaside Goldenrod supports several specialized bee species.
